Llewellyn Zublin letters to his wife and son : San Francisco, Calif., 1852-1857.

Consists of letters describing life in San Francisco, work in local newspapers, including the San Francisco Herald and the San Francisco Call, and local events between 1852 to 1857, including elections, earthquakes, fires and agricultural prices, as well as his perspective on national and international events. The letters to Amelia cease after 1854, and Llewellyn writes exclusively to Ralph until 1857. Also contains one letter from George Zublin to Llewellyn.
